About

Samaritan Girl centers on two teenage friends, Yeo-jin and Jae-young, who devise a plan to finance a trip to Europe. While Jae-young engages in prostitution, Yeo-jin manages their arrangements and finances. Gradually, however, Yeo-jin becomes troubled by their activities and begins to reconsider her role in the arrangement. When a tragic event shatters their plans, she attempts to make amends by seeking out Jae-young's former clients and returning their money through sexual encounters of her own. Yeo-jin's increasingly disturbing actions attract the attention of her father, a police detective, who responds with a mixture of grief, rage, and a desperate desire to protect her. His attempts to impose his own sense of justice lead to a chain of increasingly violent consequences, as the boundaries between punishment, guilt, and atonement become difficult to distinguish.
