About
Jun-hee, a novelist who has lost faith in her writing, travels outside Seoul to visit a younger colleague who has withdrawn from contact and now runs a small bookshop. During her journey, she encounters a film director and his wife, then meets Kil-soo, a celebrated actress who has stepped away from acting. Their chance encounter develops into a thoughtful conversation about artistic integrity, personal dissatisfaction, and the difficulty of finding meaning in creative work. Inspired by Kil-soo’s presence and personality, Jun-hee decides to make a film with her, proposing a project that departs from conventional cinematic expectations. As the women spend time together, their exchange becomes an opportunity to reconsider their creative lives and rediscover possibilities that seemed to have disappeared. Through seemingly ordinary encounters, the film explores how unexpected connections can renew artistic purpose and alter one’s understanding of oneself.
