About
Young-hee, a South Korean actress, travels to Hamburg, Germany, following the breakdown of her relationship with a married film director. Seeking distance from the scandal and emotional turmoil surrounding their affair, she spends time with a close friend, wandering through the city, visiting parks and beaches, and engaging in conversations about love, fidelity, and the difficulty of understanding one’s own desires. Despite her attempts to detach herself from the past, she remains haunted by the question of whether her lover misses her as deeply as she misses him. Returning to South Korea, Young-hee reunites with friends in the coastal city of Gangneung, where dinners, drinking, and intimate conversations bring her unresolved feelings to the surface. When she eventually encounters the director again, anger, longing, and disappointment converge in an emotionally charged confrontation. Moving between everyday interactions, dreams, and moments of introspection, the film portrays a woman struggling to reconcile her romantic idealism with the painful realities of love and social judgment.
