Himiko is a 1974 Japanese religious epic film directed by Masahiro Shinoda. It was entered into the 1974 Cannes Film Festival Feature Film Competition. A freestyle, imagined telling of the life of shaman queen Himiko, who falls in love with her half-brother, making her powers weaken thus putting her position to risk.
