Wes Anderson
Wes Anderson (born 1969) is an American director and screenwriter, one of the most stylistically distinctive figures in contemporary cinema. His features are characterized by symmetrical compositions, pastel colour, layered art direction, and a deadpan ensemble sensibility. He won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. His acclaimed films include Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Isle of Dogs, The French Dispatch, Asteroid City, and The Phoenician Scheme.
