Victor Erice

Víctor Erice (born 1940) is a Spanish director and screenwriter who has made only four feature films over more than five decades — each widely regarded as a masterpiece. His debut The Spirit of the Beehive is one of the canonical works of Spanish cinema. His acclaimed films include The Spirit of the Beehive, El Sur, The Quince Tree Sun (Dream of Light), and Close Your Eyes.
