Todd Haynes
Todd Haynes (born 1961) is an American director and screenwriter, one of the central figures of the so-called New Queer Cinema of the early 1990s. His features have engaged with American postwar history, identity, and the textures of Hollywood melodrama. His acclaimed films include Poison, Safe, Velvet Goldmine, Far from Heaven, I'm Not There, Mildred Pierce (television), Carol, Wonderstruck, Dark Waters, and May December.
