Thomas Vinterberg
Thomas Vinterberg (born 1969) is a Danish director and screenwriter, one of the co-authors of the Dogme 95 manifesto and one of the most internationally celebrated figures of contemporary Scandinavian cinema. Trained at the National Film School of Denmark, he came to international prominence with the first Dogme feature, The Celebration. His later work has continued to engage with family, hidden trauma, and social ritual. His acclaimed films include The Greatest Heroes, The Celebration, It's All About Love, Submarino, The Hunt, Far from the Madding Crowd, The Commune, and Another Round (which won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film).
