Takashi Miike

Takashi Miike (born 1960) is a Japanese director, one of the most prolific filmmakers in the world. He has directed more than a hundred features across virtually every genre. His acclaimed films include Audition, Dead or Alive, Ichi the Killer, Visitor Q, Gozu, The Happiness of the Katakuris, 13 Assassins, Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai, and First Love.
