Stanley Donen, Gene Kelly

Stanley Donen (1924–2019) and Gene Kelly (1912–1996) were American director-choreographers and longtime collaborators on classical Hollywood musicals. Their three co-directed features — On the Town, Singin' in the Rain, and It's Always Fair Weather — are among the canonical works of the Hollywood musical.
