Spike Lee
Spike Lee (born 1957) is an American director, producer, and screenwriter, one of the most consistently engaged figures in the history of American cinema with the political and cultural questions of African American life. He has produced more than thirty features since his breakthrough She's Gotta Have It. He won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for BlacKkKlansman. His acclaimed films include She's Gotta Have It, Do the Right Thing, Mo' Better Blues, Jungle Fever, Malcolm X, Crooklyn, Clockers, He Got Game, Bamboozled, 25th Hour, Inside Man, BlacKkKlansman, and Da 5 Bloods.
