Sidney Gilliat

Sidney Gilliat (1908–1994) was a British director, screenwriter, and producer. He worked extensively in partnership with Frank Launder, and the two co-founded Independent Producers and were major figures of postwar British studio cinema. His acclaimed films include Millions Like Us, Waterloo Road, Green for Danger, London Belongs to Me, The Constant Husband, and Endless Night.
