Radu Muntean
Radu Muntean (born 1971) is a Romanian director and screenwriter, one of the central figures of the Romanian New Wave. Trained at the Theatre and Film Academy in Bucharest, he came to feature filmmaking from advertising and television and developed a body of work characterized by long takes, naturalistic performance, and a deliberately understated approach to moral and political subjects. His acclaimed films include The Rage, The Paper Will Be Blue, Boogie, Tuesday, After Christmas, One Floor Below, and Întregalde.
