Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino (born 1963) is an American director and screenwriter, one of the most internationally influential figures in contemporary cinema. A former video-store clerk who steeped himself in genre and exploitation cinema before turning to direction, he has produced a series of features built around dense, talky structures, intricate cross-genre reference, and stylized violence. He has won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay twice. His acclaimed films include Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
