Pupi Avati

Pupi Avati (born 1938) is an Italian director and screenwriter, one of the most prolific Italian filmmakers of his generation. His features have ranged across Gothic horror, intimate drama, period evocation, and television. His acclaimed films include The House with Laughing Windows, Help Me Dream, Christmas Present, A School Outing, Story of Boys & Girls, The Best Man, Heart, and The Hideout.
