Peter Davis
Peter Davis (born 1937) is an American documentary director and writer best known for his feature documentaries about American politics and society. A former journalist and television producer, he turned to feature documentary in the 1970s with Hearts and Minds, an investigation of the Vietnam War that won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. His acclaimed films include Hearts and Minds and Middletown, along with several long-form television projects.
