Peter Brook
Peter Brook (1925–2022) was a British theatre and film director regarded as one of the most important theatre directors of the twentieth century. Although primarily a man of the theatre, his small body of feature films includes some of the most ambitious literary adaptations in modern cinema. His acclaimed films include Lord of the Flies, The Beggar's Opera, Marat/Sade, King Lear, Meetings with Remarkable Men, and The Mahabharata.
