Peter Bogdanovich
Peter Bogdanovich (1939–2022) was an American director, critic, and historian, one of the central figures of New Hollywood and a vital chronicler of the cinema that preceded it. A former film critic who interviewed many of the directors of classical Hollywood, he turned to direction with the cult crime feature Targets. His acclaimed films include Targets, The Last Picture Show, What's Up, Doc?, Paper Moon, Daisy Miller, Saint Jack, They All Laughed, Mask, and The Cat's Meow.
