Pen-ek Ratanaruang

Pen-ek Ratanaruang (born 1962) is a Thai director and screenwriter, one of the central figures of the so-called New Thai Cinema. His acclaimed films include Fun Bar Karaoke, 6ixtynin9, Last Life in the Universe, Invisible Waves, Ploy, Headshot, and Samui Song.
