Oldřich Lipský

Oldřich Lipský (1924–1986) was a Czech director, one of the most popular figures of postwar Czechoslovak comic cinema. His features are characterized by their comic invention and their visual playfulness. His acclaimed films include Lemonade Joe, Happy End, Adele Hasn't Had Her Dinner Yet, Mysterious Castle in the Carpathians, and Long Live Ghosts!.
