Nora Ephron
Nora Ephron (1941–2012) was an American director, screenwriter, novelist, and essayist, one of the most influential figures in contemporary American romantic comedy. After a celebrated career as a journalist and essayist, she turned to screenwriting (with Silkwood, When Harry Met Sally..., and others) and then to direction. Her acclaimed films include This Is My Life, Sleepless in Seattle, Michael, You've Got Mail, and Julie & Julia.
