Nobuo Nakagawa

Nobuo Nakagawa (1905–1984) was a Japanese director who specialized in horror and ghost-story features of the postwar Japanese B-film tradition. He is best known for the celebrated kaidan (Japanese ghost story) features made for Shintoho studios. His acclaimed films include The Mansion of the Ghost Cat, Tokaido Yotsuya Kaidan, The Lady Vampire, and Jigoku.
