Mohammad Reza Aslani

Mohammad Reza Aslani (born 1943) is an Iranian director and screenwriter, one of the pioneering figures of the Iranian New Wave. His feature Chess of the Wind, after a long period of censorship in Iran, was rediscovered and digitally restored in the 2010s. His acclaimed films include Chess of the Wind and The Green Fire.
