Mathieu Kassovitz
Mathieu Kassovitz (born 1967) is a French director, screenwriter, and actor, one of the most internationally celebrated figures of his generation of French cinema. His feature La Haine, an account of a day in the life of three young men in the Parisian banlieue, won him the Best Director prize at Cannes. His acclaimed films include Métisse, La Haine, Assassin(s), The Crimson Rivers, Gothika, Babylon A.D., and Rebellion.
