Márton Keleti
Márton Keleti (1905–1973) was a Hungarian director, one of the most prolific figures of postwar Hungarian popular cinema. After early work as a stage actor and director, he turned to filmmaking in the 1930s and continued to direct features through more than four decades, working in a wide range of genres including comedy, war drama, and literary adaptation. His acclaimed films include Mickey Magnate, Beethoven, The Corporal and the Others, The Lieutenant of Tsar Peter, Erkel, Yesterday, and The Toth Family.
