Marleen Gorris

Marleen Gorris (born 1948) is a Dutch director and screenwriter. Her feature Antonia's Line won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, becoming the first feature directed by a woman to do so. Her acclaimed films include A Question of Silence, Broken Mirrors, Antonia's Line, Mrs Dalloway, and Carolina.
