Marjane Satrapi, Vincent Paronnaud
Marjane Satrapi (born 1969) is an Iranian-French graphic novelist and director, best known internationally for her autobiographical comic Persepolis. Vincent Paronnaud (born 1970) is a French comics artist and animator. The two collaborated on the animated feature adaptation of Persepolis and the subsequent feature Chicken with Plums, fusing Satrapi's drawing style and personal narrative with Paronnaud's experience in animation direction. Their acclaimed features include Persepolis (which won the Jury Prize at Cannes) and Chicken with Plums.
