Mario Martone

Mario Martone (born 1959) is an Italian director, screenwriter, and theatre director, one of the most accomplished Italian filmmakers of his generation. His acclaimed films include Death of a Neapolitan Mathematician, Rehearsals for War, We Believed, Leopardi, Capri-Revolution, The Mayor of Rione Sanità, and Nostalgia.
