Marcel Camus

Marcel Camus (1912–1982) was a French director, best known internationally for the Brazilian-set feature Black Orpheus, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. His acclaimed films include Mort en Fraude, Black Orpheus, Bird of Paradise, and Otalia de Bahia.
