Marc Allégret

Marc Allégret (1900–1973) was a French director, one of the prolific figures of pre-war and postwar French commercial cinema. He worked across literary adaptation, drama, and biography. His acclaimed films include Fanny, Lac aux Dames, Gribouille, Entrée des Artistes, and Blanche Fury.
