Lynne Ramsay
Lynne Ramsay (born 1969) is a Scottish director, screenwriter, and cinematographer, one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary British cinema. Trained at the Royal College of Art in London, she made her name with short films and her feature debut Ratcatcher before producing a small but exceptional body of features built around taut psychological situations, sensual visual texture, and an unusually expressive use of sound design. Her acclaimed films include Ratcatcher, Morvern Callar, We Need to Talk About Kevin, and You Were Never Really Here.
