Luiz Fernando Carvalho

Luiz Fernando Carvalho (born 1960) is a Brazilian director who has worked extensively in Brazilian television and feature cinema. He is closely associated with the literary adaptations of the Globo television network. His acclaimed films include Land of the Dispossessed (Lavoura Arcaica), Hoje É Dia de Maria (television), and Today.
