Lucy Walker, João Jardim, and Karen Harley are documentary directors who collaborated on the Brazilian documentary feature Waste Land, about the artist Vik Muniz's work with garbage pickers at the Jardim Gramacho landfill outside Rio de Janeiro. The feature was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
