Lone Scherfig
Lone Scherfig (born 1959) is a Danish director, one of the figures of the Dogme 95 generation. Her Dogme feature Italian for Beginners won the Silver Bear at Berlin. Her later international features have continued to engage with intimate emotional material. Her acclaimed films include Italian for Beginners, Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself, An Education, One Day, The Riot Club, and The Kindness of Strangers.
