Liv Ullmann

Liv Ullmann (born 1938) is a Norwegian actress and director, one of the most internationally celebrated Scandinavian actors of her generation and a longtime collaborator with Ingmar Bergman. After a celebrated acting career, she turned to direction with the feature Sofie. Her acclaimed films as director include Sofie, Kristin Lavransdatter, Private Confessions, Faithless, and Miss Julie.
