Lee Isaac Chung

Lee Isaac Chung (born 1978) is an American director and screenwriter of Korean descent. Trained in ecology at Yale, he turned to filmmaking and established his reputation with the Rwanda-set Munyurangabo and the autobiographical Minari, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Director. His acclaimed films include Munyurangabo, Lucky Life, Abigail Harm, Minari, and Twisters.
