Kimberly Peirce

Kimberly Peirce (born 1967) is an American director and screenwriter, best known for the feature Boys Don't Cry, an account of the murder of Brandon Teena that brought Hilary Swank her first Academy Award. Her acclaimed films include Boys Don't Cry, Stop-Loss, and Carrie (2013).
