Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith (born 1970) is an American director, screenwriter, actor, and podcaster, a central figure of the 1990s American independent cinema boom. His self-financed feature debut Clerks, shot in the convenience store where he worked, became a cult success. His acclaimed films include Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl, and Red State.
