Joseph Cedar
Joseph Cedar (born 1968) is an Israeli director and screenwriter, one of the most internationally celebrated figures of contemporary Israeli cinema. Born in New York and raised in Jerusalem, he trained at NYU's film school. Two of his features have been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. His acclaimed films include Time of Favor, Campfire, Beaufort, Footnote, and Norman.
