Jean-Pierre Gorin
Jean-Pierre Gorin (born 1943) is a French director and screenwriter, best known as Jean-Luc Godard's collaborator in the Dziga Vertov Group in the late 1960s and early 1970s. A former Maoist activist and journalist, he co-directed several radical Godard films during their collaboration before continuing on his own as a celebrated essayist, teacher, and documentary maker, settling at the University of California, San Diego. His acclaimed films, both co-directed with Godard and independent, include Tout Va Bien, Letter to Jane, Numéro Deux, Poto and Cabengo, Routine Pleasures, and My Crasy Life.
