Jean Becker
Jean Becker (born 1933) is a French director and the son of Jacques Becker. After working as an assistant to his father and others, he made his feature debut in the 1960s and, after a long pause, returned to filmmaking in the 1980s with a series of popular features that drew on French provincial settings and strong star vehicles. His acclaimed films include One Deadly Summer, The Children of the Marshland, A Crime in Paradise, Conversations with My Gardener, Two Days to Kill, and My Afternoons with Margueritte.
