Hugh Hudson

Hugh Hudson (1936–2023) was a British director, originally a documentary and commercials director, who established himself with his feature debut Chariots of Fire, an Academy Award-winning historical drama about British Olympic athletes of the 1924 Games. His acclaimed films include Chariots of Fire, Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes, Revolution, Lost Angels, and My Life So Far.
