Harmony Korine

Harmony Korine (born 1973) is an American director, screenwriter, and visual artist, one of the most provocative figures in contemporary American independent cinema. He achieved early notoriety with the screenplay for Larry Clark's Kids when he was nineteen and has since produced a body of features distinguished by an unruly, often confrontational style. His acclaimed films include Gummo, Julien Donkey-Boy, Mister Lonely, Trash Humpers, Spring Breakers, The Beach Bum, and Aggro Dr1ft.
