György Pálfi
György Pálfi (born 1974) is a Hungarian director and screenwriter who emerged in the 2000s as one of the most stylistically inventive younger Hungarian filmmakers. Trained at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest, he made his feature debut with the village-set Hukkle and has since produced an unusually varied body of work that includes near-wordless rural fable, multi-generational body comedy, and a feature constructed almost entirely from clips of other films. His acclaimed films include Hukkle, Taxidermia, I Am Not Your Friend, Free Fall, Final Cut: Ladies and Gentlemen, and His Master's Voice.
