Guy Green
Guy Green (1913–2005) was a British cinematographer and director. After a celebrated career as a cinematographer — winning the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for Great Expectations under David Lean — he turned to direction in the 1950s and produced a body of features that ranged across British and American productions. His acclaimed films as director include The Angry Silence, Light in the Piazza, A Patch of Blue, Pretty Polly, and A Walk in the Spring Rain.
