Gleb Panfilov

Gleb Panfilov (1934–2023) was a Soviet director and screenwriter, one of the most distinctive figures of late Soviet cinema. He often collaborated with his wife, the actress Inna Churikova, who starred in many of his features. His acclaimed films include No Path Through the Fire, The Debut, I Wish to Speak, Valentina, Vassa, and The Theme.
