George C. Scott

George C. Scott (1927–1999) was an American actor and occasional director, one of the most acclaimed actors of postwar American cinema. After establishing himself as a film actor in features by directors including Otto Preminger, Stanley Kubrick, and Franklin J. Schaffner, he directed several features himself in the 1970s. His acclaimed films as director include Rage and The Savage Is Loose.
