Frigyesjim Bán

Frigyes Bán (1902–1969) was a Hungarian director, one of the most prominent figures of postwar Hungarian popular cinema and a leading representative of the official socialist realist style of the Stalinist period. His acclaimed films include Foothold, Gentleman from Venice, A Strange Marriage, and Talpalatnyi Föld (Treasured Earth).
