Frank Darabont
Frank Darabont (born 1959) is a Hungarian-American director, screenwriter, and producer. Born in a French refugee camp to Hungarian parents who had fled the 1956 revolution, he worked as a production assistant and screenwriter before turning to direction. He is best known for two adaptations of novellas by Stephen King. His acclaimed films include The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Majestic, and The Mist.
