Franco Brusati
Franco Brusati (1922–1993) was an Italian director, screenwriter, and playwright. He worked as a screenwriter on features by other major Italian directors before turning to direction in his own right. His best-known feature Bread and Chocolate was an international success and a foundational work of the Italian migrant-comedy genre. His acclaimed films include The Disorder, Bread and Chocolate, To Forget Venice, The Good Soldier, and The Sleazy Uncle.
